Muslin Gauze Blanket in Sky MistWhy it sleeps cooler
Cosy, without the heat
Most blankets keep you warm by trapping heat. Great in July, miserable in January. Muslin is cotton woven loosely and in fine layers, so air keeps moving through it. You stay covered, and the warmth that builds up under a heavy blanket has somewhere to go.
-
Stay under the covers on warm nightsBreathable cotton layers let air through, so you can stay covered without overheating.
-
Layer it all yearOn its own in summer, over a doona when it cools down.
-
A calm, relaxed lookThe soft crinkle adds a relaxed, bohemian touch to any room.
-
Easy careMachine wash cold on a gentle cycle. No dry cleaning.

Featured: the 4-layer quilt
Muslin that doesn’t feel flimsy
Thin muslin can feel like a tea towel on the bed. Our quilt stacks four layers of 100% combed cotton muslin, so it has real weight and drape, while the open weave keeps it breathable. Then flip it: the reverse gives you a second, timeless look for the same bed.

Muslin blanket questions, answered
Everything customers ask before choosing their muslin blanket.
Choose my muslin blanketWhat is a muslin blanket?
A blanket made from muslin: fine cotton woven loosely, often in several layers. The open weave lets air through, so it feels soft and cosy without trapping heat the way fleece or polyester does.
Will a muslin blanket keep me cool in summer?
It’s designed to. Muslin breathes, so warm air can escape while you stay covered. On very hot nights the single-layer gauze blanket is the lightest option; the 4-layer quilt suits the bed all year.
Is the quilt too thin to feel cosy?
No. Four layers give it real weight and drape. One customer put it this way: “breathable, light, but still keeps in warmth.”
What size muslin blanket should I get?
Use the size guide above. If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger one: several customers say they wish they’d sized up.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle, no bleach. Tumble dry low or hang to dry, and make sure it’s fully dry before storing.
Is it safe for sensitive skin and kids?
The quilt is made from eco-friendly, non-toxic materials with no formaldehyde or fluorescence. If anyone has a specific allergy, check the product details before ordering.
What’s the difference between the quilt and the gauze blanket?
The quilt is four layers of 100% combed cotton muslin and reversible. The gauze blanket is a single, airy layer with a crinkled texture and fringed edges, in 9 colours.
How long does shipping take, and what if I don’t love it?
Shipping is free. Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and arrive 3 to 12 business days later, depending on your location. You have 30 days to return it for free.
